Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Hussien al-Marabi, of the Fadhila bloc within the Iraqi National Alliance expected “Forming a new alliance that involves MPs who split from their political blocs to form a government of political majority.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The next stage will witness forming huge alliance that will lead the political process in the country.”

“This huge parliamentary alliance will form the government of the political majority and will exclude the other sides, which reject the dialogues, by keeping them as opposition,” he stressed.

“If the political blocs reached agreements, the current government will continue,” he concluded.

The political scene witnesses escalated disputes among the political blocs which led some of the political sides to call for withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki after several meetings in Erbil and Najaf provinces.

A political meeting has been held in Nineveh on Saturday, which was headed by the parliament Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, to discuss the political crisis.
