Nineveh Governor: Nineveh meeting to be limited to IS leaders

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) The Governor of Nineveh province, Athil al-Nijaifi, confirmed that “The meeting, which will be held in Nineveh on Saturday, will be attended by the Iraqiya Slate only.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The IS leaders including the head of the Slate, Ayad Allawi, will attend the meeting to discuss the political updates concerning the issue of withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki.”

“An extended meeting will be held in Erbil province on next Sunday to discuss the same issues,” he added, stressing that “The meeting will be attended by the leaders of the Kurdistani Alliance, IS and representatives of Sadr Trend.”
