Sadrist MP confirms Ahrar bloc adherence for withdrawing confidence from Maliki

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Yuosif al-Tayi, of Ahrar bloc confirmed “The adherence of Ahrar bloc for the issue of withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “We insist on withdrawing confidence from Maliki and still adopt the same stance in supporting this issue,” noting that “There is no agreement reached with the State of Law Coalition over canceling this issue.”

“We are waiting for resuming the parliament session to determine this issue in case it is included within the parliament agenda,” he concluded.

Earlier, MP, Salman al-Musawi, of the State of Law Coalition mentioned that “The SLC and the Sadr Trend are about to reach agreement to settle the political crisis.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “After negotiations between the Dawa Islamic Party and the Ahrar bloc, the two sides reached agreement over conducting reformation by all sides in the government institutions.”

The spokesman of the Sadr Trend, Salah al-Ubaidi, stated that “A delegation form the Sadr Trend conducted talks in Iran over the issue of withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki.

Earlier, the spokesperson of the IS, Maysoun al-Damlouji, stated to IraqiNews.com “We managed to get the required signatures to withdraw confidence from Maliki,” noting that “The MPs’ signatures were collected from all the blocs.”
