Sadrist MP: War of toppling Maliki Not start yet

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The war of withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, is not started yet.

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Maliki did not launch this war to end it by himself,” noting that “The parliament will settle this issue.”

“Al-Wafa gathering, which is formed to involve a number of MPs who rejected withdrawing the confidence, is like a riddle because we do not know the real number of the MPs joined this gathering,” he added.

“Some sides said that this gathering involved 37 MPs but when they met Maliki, they appeared to be 20 while during the press conference, we saw ten MPs only,” he concluded.
