Dahlaki calls politicians to present concessions to settle crisis

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Raad al-Dahlaki, of the Iraqi Front for National Dialogue within the Iraqiya Slate called “The politicians to present concessions to their partners in order to settle the current crisis otherwise the crisis will have negative consequences and the Iraqi people will punish the politicians.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The current political disputes are related to personal interests,” noting that “The State is run through the national partnership and all sides should participate in making the political decision.”

“The current stage requires clear and frank dialogues among all blocs,” he concluded.

Earlier, the President Jalal Talabani assured, on last Saturday night, that “The number of the MPs who have signed a request to withdraw confidence from the Premier Nouri al-Maliki reached only 160 MPs which is less than the required number limited by 163.”

It is worth mentioning that the head of the Iraqiya Slate, Ayad Allawi, the Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, and the Deputy Premier, Salih al-Mutleg, participated in a meeting in Nineveh to discuss the efforts for withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki.
