Netherlands consulate to be inaugurated in Kurdistan Region soon

Sulaimaniyah (IraqiNews.com) The Dutch ambassador to Iraq announced the inauguration of Netherlands consulate in Kurdistan Region soon.

A statement by the office of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan cited “Sulaimaniya governor, Buhrouz Mohammed Salih, received the Dutch ambassador to Iraq, Jeroen Roodenburg,” noting that “The two sides discussed the mutual relations and the means to develop them.”

“Salih called Roodenburg to encourage the Netherlands companies to invest in Kurdistan Region,” the statement added.

For his part, Roodenburg assured the importance of the mutual relations, announcing the aim of his visit which is to be acquainted with the performance of the institutions in Sulaimaniya, pointing out “The Netherlands consulate will be inaugurated soon in Kurdistan Region.”

“Roodenburg revealed that an economic and commercial delegation will visit Sulaimaniya city to be aquanted with the investment projects in the province,” the statement concluded.
