Hajj Commission warns citizens from dealing with non-official Hajj offices

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Supreme Commission for Hajj and Umrah warned the citizens from delivering their official documents and money to the offices which claim launching visas for what is called “Business Pilgrimage,” denying existence of any trade Hajj department in the commission. The SCHU mentioned in a statement received by IraqiNews.com “The Saudi Hajj authorities have not granted any increase in the number of Iraqi pilgrims,” noting that “The SCHU did not receive visas about the business pilgrimage,” The statement added “There are non-official offices advertised launching visas for trade Hajj, so we warn the citizens from handing over their passports and travel fees of pilgrimage to such offices.” It is mentioned that some private offices have fixed banners at the facades of their offices, advertising business pilgrimage.
