Aftan receives Iranian Energy delegation to discuss electricity service

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Electricity Minister, Karim Aftan, stated that his own concern is to provide the best service of electric power to the citizens.

While receiving a delegation of the Iranian Energy Ministry on Monday, he confirmed that “The ministry will pay for Iran for providing the electric power and the imported fuel.”

The spokesperson of the Ministry, Musaab al-Mudaris, stated that “The Iranian delegation comprised three undersecretaries of the Iranian Energy Ministry in addition to some Iranian officials and the Iranian ambassador to Iraq.”

“The delegation expressed the Iranian readiness to provide the best services to Iraq and help it to eliminate the crisis of electricity in Iraq by solving all the administrative and financial issues,” Mudaris concluded.
