5 IPs, IA soldiers killed, injured in Abu Gharib district

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Five elements of Army and Police forces were killed and injured in two separated incidents in Abu Gharib district of western Baghdad.

Security source stated to Iraqi News IraqiNews.com “An IED exploded targeting an Iraqi Army patrol in Amarat Sakinah area of Abu Gharib district,” noting that “The explosion resulted in killing a soldier and injuring three others in addition to causing material damages to the buildings close to the explosion area.”

The source added “A policeman was killed when an IED exploded in front of his house in Albu Amer area within Abu Gharib area.” \
