SLC MP: Investigating Maliki anticipating step to prevent revealing corruption files

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Shakir al-Daraji, MP of the State of Law Coalition described the attempts to investigate the Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, in the parliament as “An anticipating step to prevent revealing corruption files against politicians.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The intentions of some politicians to investigate Maliki are also attempts to hinder the performance of the government that aims to eliminate corruption.”

“Some sides tried, by requesting to withdraw confidence from Maliki and then investigating him in the parliament, to cover the real trouble in the building process of the government and its institutions,” he concluded.
