Jobouri: INA collects 120 signatures for withdrawing confidence from Nijaifi

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Qutaiba al-Jobouri, the had of the Hurra Iraqiya bloc pointed out “The members of the Iraqi National Alliance managed to collect signatures of 120 MPs for withdrawing confidence from the Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi,” assuring that “The stance of the Hurra Iraqiya bloc is not determined yet about this issue.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “The reasons behind withdrawing the confidence are related to administrative violations committed by Nijaifi,” noting that “If the reasons are convincing, the Hurra Iraqiya bloc will support this project.”

“The parliament chairmanship should represent all Iraqis and treat all sides equally and to call them for conducting dialogues to settle the disputes,” he concluded.

A number of MPs within the State of Law Coalition threatened to withdrawing confidence from Nijaifi as a reaction for the attempt of withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki.
