Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, recieved a delegation from Jihad and Construction Movement headed by its Secretary General, Hassan al-Sari, and discussed the main challenges facing the political process.
A statement by the Information Office of the Movement “A delegation from Jihad and Construction Movement headed by Sari met, on Thursday, Maliki where they discussed a number of significant issues and the latest updates on the political scene.”
“Sari talked about the role of the Islamic movements which stood against the former regime and their great sacrifices for Iraq, he praised these movements’ positive role in supporting the national partnership government,” the statement added.
The statement noted that “Maliki praised merging the three Islamic movements into one, also he praised their sacrifices in their opposition to the dictatorial rule and their active participation in rebuilding Iraq.”
