Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Jawad al-Bazoni, of the Iraqi National Alliance warned from conducting violent demonstrations due to the continuity of the current political crisis in the country.

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The masses will organize huge and violent demonstrations especially in Baghdad and western provinces if the crisis continues,” noting that “These demonstrations will threaten the security situation and the whole democratic political process.”

“All the blocs are called to find solution for the disputes by responding to the call of the President, Jalal Talabani, of holding the national meeting,” he concluded.

Earlier, the President Jalal Talabani assured that the number of the MPs who have signed a request to withdraw confidence from the Premier Nouri al-Maliki reached only 160 MPs which is less than the required number limited by 163.

The political sides which held a meeting in Erbil on last Sunday decided to send “A clarifying message to confirm that the signatures collected for withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, are constitutionally suffesient and valid.

It is worth mentioning that the head of the Iraqiya Slate, Ayad Allawi, the Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, and the Deputy Premier, Salih al-Mutleg, participated in a meeting in Nineveh to discuss the efforts for withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki.
