URGENT – MPs of Hal bloc resume their support for withdrawing confidence from Maliki

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Al-Hal bloc within the Iraqiya Slate announced that “The MPs of the bloc resumed their support for withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, and returned their signatures after recanting them.”

The spokesman of the bloc, Ahmed al-Msari, stated to IraqiNews.com “The head of Hal bloc, Jamal al-Karbouli, met the head of the IS, Ayad Allawi, in Jordan on last Thursday and apologized for recanting a number of MPs within the bloc for their signatures from the request for withdrawing confidence from Maliki.”

“Karbouli confirmed that Hal MPs resumed their support for the confidence withdrawal as their fellow MPs in the IS,” he added.

“The IS will announce posting the names of the MPs who opposed its decision for withdrawing confidence from Maliki,” he stressed, noting that “The IS will go on in its project by investigating Maliki in the parliament.”

Earlier, six MPs from Hal bloc recanted their signatures from the request of withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki.
