Urgent – Casualties of Baquba suicide bombing rise

Diyala, Baquba (IraqiNews.com) The casualties of the suicide bombing which took place in Baquba rose to more than 50 deaths and injuries.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com on Monday that ”The casualties of the explosion of the suicide bomber reahched 16 deaths and 38 injuries four of them were security officers.”

The source added “The mourning procession was attended by many senior security figures and commanders,” pointing out that ”The death toll is expected to increase.”

Earlier, a suicide bomber detonated his explosives inside a mourning procession which resulted in killing and injuring many people in Shefta village of central Baquba the central of Diyala province. \
