Nusaiyf: Request to investigate Maliki must be constitutionally approved

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Aliya Nusaiyf, of the Iraqiya Hurra bloc stated that “The sides which call for investigating the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki must submit a request to the parliament chairmanship to approve it constitutionally.”

In a press statement by the media office of the bloc, she said “The request must be submitted to the parliament to check it constitutionally by voting on it as a concept to approve it.”

“Submitting the request should be done prior to starting the investigation process,” she added, noting that “This request must not be for personal desires without the legal and constitutional basis.”
