IS holds meeting Wednesday evening, says MP

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Member of the Iraqiya Slate, Intisar Allawi, announced that “The IS will hold a meeting after the end of the parliament holiday on Wednesday evening.”

She stated to IraqiNews.com “The meeting will be held at the house of the leader within the Slate, Rafi al-Esawi, and will discuss several issues including the attempt of withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, and the political update in addition to the law drafts that will be presented for a vote in the parliament in the next period.”

“The head of the Slate, Ayad Allawi, will not attend the meeting because he is currently in Jordan,” she added.

“The Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, and the member of the Slate, Salman al-Jumaili, as well as other members will attend the meeting,” she concluded.
