MoWR declares proceeding work of Doanish reclamation project

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Technical and Engineering staff within the General Bureau of Irrigation Projects within the Ministry of Water Resources declared continuing the works of reclamating al-Doanish project of Shatra district in Dhi Qar province. A statement by the Ministry cited “The project aims to reduce the level of the ground waters and to improve the productivity and efficiency of the district lands which constitute 69,000 acres.”
