SLC MP expects heated statements in next parliament session

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Intisar Hassan, of the State of Law Coalition expected that “The next parliament session will witness heated statements between the MPs due to the current political crisis.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), she stated “I expect the next session will witness the heated statements rather than endorsing any law drafts by the political blocs.”

“Certainly the blocs called to withdraw confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, will create the tension and make the heated statements, but we will have an opposite attitude,” she added.

The parliament next session will be held on Thursday where some informed sources stated that “The agenda of the next session does not include the request to investigate PM Maliki.”
