IS MP criticizes request of toppling Nijaifi as reaction to attmept of toppling Maliki

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Shalan al-Karim, of the Iraqiya Slate rejected “The request to withdraw confidence from the Parliament Speaker, Osama al-Jijaifi, as a reaction to the attempt of to withdraw confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki. He said “The issue of withdrawing confidence from the Speaker in opposite for attempt of toppling Maliki is unacceptable.” Karim added “Nijaifi did not commit any legal or Constitutional violations while assuming his post,” critisizing “The pretext behind this request.” It is mentioned that the Head of the Hurra Iraqiya bloc Khutaiba al-Jubouri has announced “The MPs of the Iraqi National Alliance managed to collect (120) signatures to withdraw confidence from the Speaker Nijaifi, noting that “The Hurra Iraqiya Bloc’s stance has not been decided yet.”
