Egyptian coach praises Iraqi Football Team’s performance

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Egyptian coach Hani Ramzi pointed out that “The participation of the Egyptian team in the Arab Cup Championship represents a best chance for preparing the team for its Olympic participation.”

He stated to Iraqi News Friday “We also participate in this championship to compete on the title despite presence of the Iraqi team,” noting that “The players of the Egyptian National Team Amro Zaki and Ahmed Eid Abdul Malik have been added to the final list of his young team to prepare the final formation that will participate in London Olympics.”

“This championship will not witness competition from new teams since the competition will be limited to teams that have already won the title of previous championships,” he assured.

Concerning the participation of the Iraqi Team in the Cup, Ramzi clarified “The Iraqi Football Team is among the powerful Arab teams,” noting that “Absence of three or four professional players from the team would not affect the team because Iraqi football yards generate good players all the time.”
