Mayahi: White bloc supports Maliki’s call to conduct exceptional session for parliament

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Aziz al-Mayahi, the leader within the White bloc announced that “The White bloc supports the call of the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, to hold an exceptional session for the parliament.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Maliki’s request is a constitutional request that goes in harmony with the requirements of the current stage and the crisis which negatively affect the political and security situation.”

He assured “Maliki’s step is welcomed due to the current political and media escalation that hurdle the political process,” noting that “Maliki’s brave stance will help in putting an end for the crisis.”

“Maliki request to be hosted in an exceptional session will grant him more freedom to present the corruption files,” he concluded.
