MP: Sadr Trend not to support investigating Maliki in parliament

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Hussien al-Mansouri, confirmed that “The Sadr Trend will not support investigating the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, in the parliament.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The head of the Sadr Trend, Muqtada al-Sadr, confirmed to the other sides that he will supplement them with 40 signatures if they gather 124 signatures for withdrawing confidence from Maliki.”

“Sadr did not call for investigating Maliki in the parliament,” he added.

Over presenting some issues by Maliki during the investigation, he assured “Maliki has to answer the questions only without mentioning further information,” noting that “Maliki can present some issues in other times away from the investigation.”
