Security commander survives assassination in Nineveh

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) The commander of the Emergency Police Brigade in Nineveh Province, Colonel Abed Tuwaiba al-Jubouri, survived an assassination attempt when a bomb exploded targeting his motorcade on Mosul-Qayara road of southern Mosul city, security source reported to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) on Sunday.

“The explosion caused material damage for the military vehicle of Colonel Jubouri without any casualties among the elements of the motorcade,” the source concluded.
