SLC MP rules out Maliki’s presentation of new files in investigation session

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Ihsan al-Awadi, of the State of Law Coalition ruled out presenting new files by the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki during the investigation session if held.

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) , he stated “I do not think Maliki to present new files in the investigation session because he stated previously with all the files that he has and there is nothing hidden,” noting that “The files that Maliki has revealed are related to the corruption issues and violations committed by Kurdistan Regional Government against some districts.”

“The Iraqi National Alliance wants to diagnose the defects in order to fix it in the future and this can be done only in a session that can be broadcast live so that Maliki can explain the details of the defects and the means of fixing them,” he concluded.
