GI office denies reports over investigating MoE General Inspector

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The office of the General Inspector at the Ministry of Electricity denied the reports about intention of the Parliamentary oil and gas and Integrity committees to question the General Inspector of the Ministry.

A statement issued by the Office to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) said that “Parliamentary committees do not usually question the officials, because this task is limited by the parliament.”

It added that “The parliamentary integrity committee has continuous cooperation and coordination with the General Inspector and it hosts him every now and then to discuss the corruption files in the ministry.”
