Hakim congratulates Mursi for being elected as President of Egypt

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Head of the Supreme Iraqi Islamic Council, Ammar al-Hakim, congratulated Mohamed Mursi for being elected as the President of Egypt.

In his congratulatory message, Hakim said “I am pleased to extend my congratulations for winning the Egyptians’ trust through democratic and free elections that reflected the adherence of the Egyptian people to their elevated goals.”

“I would like to express my confidence that Egypt will go on to consolidate the democratic regime to continue it prominent regional role,” Hakim concluded.
