MoHC describes Economic Iraqi-Portuguese Forum as positive

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Minister of Housing and Construction, Mohamed Saheb al-Daraji discussed with the two Ministries of Economy and Foreign Affairs of Portugal, the means of cooperation between both countries in the field of housing. A statement by the Ministry cited “Daraji met with the earlier mentioned two Portuguese Ministers of economy and Foreign Affairs during his visit to the Portuguese capital, Lisbon to head the Iraqi delegation that participated in the economic Iraqi-Portuguese Forum.” “The Minister assured that the meeting was positive where we offered a detailed explanation about the housing situation in Iraq and discussed the importance of activating the mutual cooperation between both countries and the investment opportunities available in the housing and construction sector also inviting the Portuguese side to open the Portuguese’s embassy in Iraq soon,” the statement added. The statement clarified that “Daraji met with a delegation of representatives of the Portuguese Companies concerned in construction sector where he invited them to visit Iraq in order to inspect the investment opportunities and the future projects of the MoHC.”
