2-1 win on Egypt puts Iraq on top of 3rd group of ACN

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi team succeeded to turn the (1-0) lose in the first half of its match against the Egyptian team, played on the Abdullah al-Faisal Stadium in Jeddah city of the KSA, into a (2-1) win.

The events of the second half came different from those of the first half since the performance of the Iraqi team noticeably improved to change the final score of the match.

The Egyptian team scored first at the last minute of the first half through from the penalty spot.

The Iraqi team scored twice in the second half to lead the teams of the third group within the Arab Cup of Nations with six points from two wins over Lebanon and Egypt.

The Sudani team comes second after the Iraqi team with four points after beating the Lebanese team 2-0 on Wednesday.
