2 IEDs defused north of Babel

Babel (IraqiNews.com) Security forces managed to defuse two Improvised Explosive Devices which were emplaced at the bases of two towers for transferring electricity power in Buhairat area of Iskandariya District (60 km) to the north of Babel province on Wednesday, security source reported to IraqiNews.com.

“The IEDs are locally made and contain a large amount of TNT explosive material,” the source added, noting that “They were defused safely without casualties or damage.”
