INA announces forming reformation committee to start tasks ASAP

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi National Alliance confirmed “forming the reformation committee, stressing the necessity of starting its tasks as soon as possible.”

A statement by INA cited “The political committee of INA held a meeting on Tuesday night at the office of the head of the INA, Ibrahim al-Jaafary in presence of the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki and the blocs within INA where the meeting started with a report by Maliki about the governmental and political situations and the necessity to increase the role of INA in the process of building the governmental institutions and protecting the political process.”

“The INA nominated the members of the reformation committee comprising MPs of different blocs and set the suitable mechanism for the performance of this committee, stressing the necessity of starting its tasks immediately,” the statement added.

The statement pointed out “The INA confirmed its attitude over settling the disputes though dialogue because it is the only means to settle them.”

“The INA discussed the performance of the parliament and stressed the necessity to support it to endorse the important law drafts without delay,” the statement concluded.
