Iraqi football team to meet Egyptian counterpart Wednesday evening

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi National Football team will face its Egyptian counterpart within the Arab Cup for Nations held now in the KSA on Wednesday evening.

The match of the Iraqi and the Egyptian teams will be played on Prince Abdullah al-Faisal Stadium in Jeddah city at 21:00 hour according to Baghdad local time on Wednesday within the second round of the third group.

The Technical Manager of the Iraqi Football Team Zico stressed the importance of the match, considering it the “gate for reaching second stage of the Arab Cup of Nations.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “We have observed the match between the Egyptian and Sudanese teams and we have diagnosed the weaknesses of the Egyptian team,” noting that “We will work to win the match to settle the issue of passing for next stage.”
