Shahristani confirms: Iraqi reserves of Oil represent 11% of International Oil

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister for Energy Affairs Hussein al-Shahristani confirmed from Indonesia that Iraq has a huge reserves of Oil that represents about 11% of the total International Oil reserves in addition to a huge reserves of natural gas to be invested during the coming few years.”

In a statement received by Iraqi News, Shahristani added Wednesday “Iraq has more than 400 expected hydro-carbonic sites which have not been inspected yet,” stressing the Iraqi Government’s readiness to supply Indonesia with its requirements of crude oil.”

The DPM Shahristani has already discussed with Indonesian Deputy Prime Minister as well as other officials and businessmen the means of developing economic relations between both countries.
