Urgent – Security forces prevent Sadr from entering Karbala

Karbala (IraqiNews.com) The security forces in Karbala province prevented the Head of Sadrist Trend Muqtada al-Sadr from entering the province. The member of Karbala Provincial Council of the Ahrar Bloc Tariq al-Khezarani said to IraqiNews.com “The checkpoint responsible for Karbala-Najaf entrance prevented Sadr’s convoy from entering the province based on orders issued by the local government there not to allow the Governmental convoys and Officials to enter Karbala during the days of Sha’ban Visit on next Friday.” He added “After contacting the local government in Karbala, it ordered the checkpoint to allow Sadr’s procession to enter the province,” noting that the Head of ST thanked the security forces on performing their duty and sticking to the orders.”
