Khuzayi, Maliki discuss political updates

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Vice-President, Khudair al-Khuzayi, discussed with the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, the recent political updates.

A statement by Khuzayi’s office cited “Both sides reviewed, on last Thursday evening, the means to settle the current political crisis.”

“Both sides stressed the necessity of conducting dialogue among the political sides to discuss the proposals of all sides,” the statement assured.

“They confirmed the major role of the Iraqi National Alliance in accomplishing the reforms to realize the Iraqis’ hopes,” the statement concluded.
