Tai urges all sides to achieve political Reforms

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Religious man Qasim al-Tai pointed out that “The reforms in the political process is a common collective action and cannot be done by the government without the support of all other sides like the parliament, provincial councils and Kurdistan Regional Government.”

He said in a statement issued from his media office on Monday that “Reforms should be national and to serve the people rather than being a political settlement,” noting that “It should not be taken as a justification to restrict the government.”

He added that “The participation in the reformation of the political process should not be in the details of the security and foreign relations files which should be run by the government exclusively.”

The Iraqi National Alliance prepared a paper called by the reforms paper which will be presented to the political blocs in order to end the political crisis that beset the country for months.
