Sahwa elements killed in southern Tikrit

Salah-il-Din (IraqiNews.com) Two Sahwa elements were killed in Samara city of southern Tikrit on Tuesday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “Unidentified gunmen driving a motorbike opened fire targeting the elements of Sahwa checkpoint in Samara city,” noting that “The attack resulted in killing two elements of the checkpoint.”

The source added “The gunmen managed to flee after the attack.”

“A security force hurried to the explosion vicinity transferring the dead bodies to the morgue and started investigation,” the source concluded.
