Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Saudi delegation participating in the Arab Cup of Nations for youth under 21 years old held in Tunisia submitted an objection to the Organizing Committee within the Arab Association against the age of some Iraqi players, demanding to examine them.

Head of the Iraqi Delegation to the Championship Naeem Saddam stated to Iraqi News “The Iraqi delegation held discussion with the Secretary general of the Arab Football Association Walid al-Kurdi over the vague procedures of testing the players after the victory achieved for the Iraqi team on the Saudi team,” noting that “The Iraqi delegation is not concerned about the results of examining the Iraqi players since we have submitted to the organizing committee all the IDs and evident sent by the Asian Confederation for the Iraqi players.”

“Most of the Iraqi players have been examined by the Asian Confederation during the former participation of the Iraqi team,” he added.

The Iraqi team tops its group which consists of the Sudanese and Saudi teams.
