Urgent – Arrest warrants issued against officials in Babel Agriculture Department

Babel (IraqiNews.com) Babel Criminal Court issued arrest warrants against the Director of Babel Agriculture Department and a number of the employees of the directorate.

A source at the court told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) Thursday that “The Court issued a arrest warrants against the Director of the Babel Agriculture Department Hussein Abed Hassouni and his assistant as well as three of the employees of the Directorate in accordance with Article [340] of the Penal Code concerning neglect and waste of public wealth.”

The source said “The decision of the Court came at the request of the Office of the Integrity Commission in the province.”
