IED, bomb explode in Kirkuk

Kirkuk (IraqiNews.com) An Improvised Explosive Device exploded in addition to a sound bomb targeting a mosque in Sirdomiz area in Kirkuk on Friday.

A statement by the Patriotic Union of Kurdistani quoted the head of Facilitation Protection Service, Shirzad Mofri, as saying “The IED and the sound bomb went off injuring four persons.”

“Two among the injured are civilians while the two others are policemen,” the source concluded.
