Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Local football coaches held the Iraqi Football Association and the Coach Hakim Shakir the responsibility of the Iraqi Youth Football Team’s loss in the Arab Cup of Nations Under 21 years Championship held in Jordan.

Coach of the Minaa Sports Club Rahim Hamid stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) Saturday “The IFA is responsible for the loss of the Iraqi team because IFA joined the same team in the Olympic Qualifications earlier and then joined it I the Arab Cup Championship which forced the players to play eight matches within less than 20 days which is a great mistake committed by IFA.”

For his part, the former Coach of the Iraqi Youth Team Hasan Ahmed held the Coach of team Hakim Shakir responsible for the failure of the team noting that “The team did not show good performance in this championship or the Asian Qualifications.”

“The team did not play with a clear tactic inside the yard and the attacks were not prepared well for the Iraqi team,” he added.

The Iraqi Youth team concluded its participation in the Championship of Arab Cup of Nations after two defeats to Tunisia (5-3), Morocco (2-1) and a draw with Syria (2-2).
