Blocs to avoid investigating Maliki if reforms appeared to be real, says Dahlaki

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Raad al-Dahlaki, of the Iraqiya Slate confirmed that “The political blocs will reconsider the issue of investigating the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki, in preparation for withdrawing confidence from him if the political reforms presented by the Iraqi National Alliance appeared to be real.”

Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “Some blocs adopt the proposal of the investigation and withdrawing confidence due to the lack of the reforms.”

“If the reforms were conducted and were reflected positively on the political process as well as the citizens, the blocs will avoid the investigation,” he added.

“The reforms should not be delayed because the Iraqis and the political process lost too much,” he concluded.
