MP: Demands to be accomplished through reforms conducted by legislative, executive authorities

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Abdul Khudhur al-Tahir, of the Iraqiya Slate confirmed that “The demands will be accomplished through reforms that must be conducted by both the legislative and the executive authorities.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Since Erbil meeting followed by Najaf meeting, all sides speak about the reforms.”

“A huge part of the reforms must be conducted by the parliament through endorsing laws,” he added.

“Many sides called to reconsider the laws that deprived a large community among the Iraqis and made about 23% of them below the poverty line,” he stressed.

“The institutions must avoid partisan interests and to implement the reforms which need time because the State have been established on wrong basis since 2003,” he concluded.
