Dozens of political prisoners rally in Najaf

Najaf (IraqiNews.com) Dozens of political prisoners demonstrated in central Najaf city demanding their financial rights. The Director of the Media Office of Political Prisoners Commission in Najaf Ali Abu Ragheef said to IraqiNews.com “A wide demonstration set out in central Najaf organized by the political prisoners to rally in front of the Provincial Council’s headquarter to demand their financial rights and pieces of land.” Ragheef pointed out that “For their side, the officials in the province claimed that there are no residential pieces of land in the province to be distributed and they will compensate them with residential units through the investment sector.”
