Maliki instruct to investigate Diwaniya security breach

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki instructed to investigate the reasons behind the security breach that took place in Diwaniya province on Monday.

The Iraqi Satellite Channel reported the Governor of Diwaniya as saying Monday “Maliki instructed to investigate the reasons of the security breach which happened in the province on Monday.”

A bomb exploded on Monday morning at a crowded local market in central Diwaniya leaving 50 deaths and injuries mostly among civilians.

The province witnessed angry demonstrations to denounce the explosion but later it developed into riots and clashes with security elements that resulted in damaging a police vehicle and attacking governmental buildings in the province.
