MP: Syrian situation not to affect Iraqi economy

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Nahida al-Dayni, the member of the Parliamentary Committee for the Economic and Investment, ruled out the effect of the Syrian situation on the Iraqi economy.

She stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “The situation in Syria will neither positively nor negatively affect the Iraqi economy because most of the goods imported by Iraq are from Turkey and Iran.”

“The Iraqi imports from Syria are not much and in this way, it will not affect the Iraqi economic situation,” she concluded.
