Abbawi, Danish Ambassador discuss issue of Iraqi refugees in Denmark

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Policy Planning and Bilateral Relations, Labid Abbawi, received the Danish Ambassador to Baghdad, Gert Meinecke.

A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received by IraqiNews.com cited “During the meeting, bilateral relations, the issue of the Iraqi refugees in Denmark, in addition to the issue of the Danish Embassy in Baghdad, were discussed.”

“On the expiration of the Danish Ambassador’s term of office in Baghdad, Undersecretary Abbawi expressed admiration of the ambassador’s efforts to develop bilateral relations, wishing him success in his future missions,” the statement concluded.
