IFA plans training camp for Iraqi Youth Football Team in Qatar

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Football Association discussed with the Qatari Football Association the issue of holding a training camp for the Iraqi Youth Football Team in preparation for the Asian Finals to be held in the UAE next September.

The Secretary of IFA Tariq Ahmed revealed to IraqiNews.com “The training camp is scheduled to witness playing several friendly matches.”

“IFA is waiting for getting the official permission and stating the date for starting this camp,” Ahmed added.

He also mentioned that “IFA approved conducting a friendly match for the Iraqi Youth team with its Kuwaiti counterpart to be held after the end of the training camp in Doha.”
