Jaafary, Maliki evaluates current political situation

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Iraqi National Alliance, Ibrahim al-Jaafary and the Prime Minister, Nouri al-Maliki, assured the necessity to strengthen the confidence bonds among the political blocs and to activate the discussed points.

A statement cited “Jaafary received Maliki at his office in Baghdad on Sunday night where they evaluated the current political process and the latest developments in the region.”

“The two sides also discussed the latest negotiations between the INA and the other blocs and they assured the necessity of activating the discussed points in order to achieve confidence among the political blocs to settle the pending issues,” the statement concluded.
