Kurdish MP: Declaring Kurdish State subject to Federal Government’s respect to Constitution

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP,Ruse Mahdi, of the Kurdistani Alliance stressed that “The declaration of the Kurdish State depends on the respect of the Central Government to the Iraqi Constitution and the rights of the Kurds guaranteed in it.” He confirmed “When the Kurds believe that their Constitutional rights are unprotected, then we will demand the independence from Iraq and this is a legitimate right granted for all people in the world,” assuring that “We will keep within the Iraqi State in case there is respect to the common work and rights.” Earlier, the President of Kurdistan Region Masoud Barzani has insinuated in a TV speech, on last Saturday, the declaration of the Region independence if the political crisis and disputes continued between the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Federal Government in Baghdad.
